Alexa And Carlos PenaVega Are ‘Negotiating’ Baby Number 2 (EXCLUSIVE)
And baby makes four? Umm, pump the brakes! Alexa and Carlos PenaVega love being parents to their son, Ocean, but aren’t quite ready for baby number two just yet. The pair has been busy traveling lately and are still adjusting to their new life in Hawaii, where they just recently moved because “they didn’t fit in” in LA.
Right now, the PenaVegas love watching their son grow up. “You know with Ocean right now he’s going through that feisty stage — I don’t want to call it terrible twos because he’s not terrible,” Alexa exclusively told Life & Style. “He’s still a really, really good boy, but he’s so independent and he’s always been an independent child, but it’s funny watching him grow into his personality, and literally he is a mini Carlos! I mean the sass.”
However, the duo admitted that they are “in negotiations” right now in regards to having another kid. What’s the hold up, though? Well, Carlos loves cruises (the family was recently named the Godfamily to Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas cruise ship) and if Alexa were to get pregnant, they would have stop cruising for a year.
“We really love cruising. It’s the ultimate vacation for us so when we can’t do that — I mean now we live in a place that’s not California. When we were in California, you were like, ‘get us out of here!’ At least now when we’re home, we feel more of that peace. There’s just something about cruising. It’s exciting, you recharge, it’s fun and it’s easy,” the Spy Kids actress revealed.
The Dancing With the Stars alums do agree that they want more kids, but right now, they don’t have a specific number in mind. “We originally wanted one or two and then one day I’m like showering up and I just got this urge of, ‘I think I want four or five kids,’” she said. “And I go downstairs and I’m talking to Carlos and he’s like, ‘babe, I know this is going to sound crazy but out of nowhere, I just felt like I wanted four or five kids.’ I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? That just happened to me upstairs!’” Woah, talk about being on the same page!
Carlos says they will “take it one at a time” when it comes to having more children, but did add, “I just hope we get a girl.”
