Amid the TikTok It-girl’s time on Dancing With the Stars this season, fans were wondering if her NFL player boyfriend would make it to the stage to cheer her on — to no avail. As he was absent on the dance floor, fans have been dying to know if Alix will be absent on his football game sidelines. So, are they still together?
Are Alix and Braxton Still Together?
Yes — all signs point to still going strong. After fans bombarded Deux Moi with questions about the couple’s relationship status, the gossip page finally stepped in on November 30 to clear up the rumors via Instagram.
“The status of this couple has been one of the most asked questions the past 3 weeks because Alix Earle & Braxton Berrios sends the internet into a meltdown every time they spend time apart but just like we reported this fall, they seem to still be very much together!”
On top of that, Alix herself explained Braxton’s absence at DWTS. In response to a fan who said what everyone was thinking, writing, “Ugh I hope u and Braxton are still together.” Alix replied, “He couldn’t come bc of football.”
And she wasn’t kidding. Braxton’s schedule with the Houston Texans kept him firmly on the field instead of the ballroom floor.
Still, he managed to show his support in the sweetest way — by sending a pre-recorded message that aired during the Nov. 25 DWTS finale. “I’ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows,” he said. “Good luck. Have fun, babe.”
Even though Alix didn’t snag the Mirrorball trophy, she walked away with something else she cherished — her partnership with Val Chmerkovskiy. “Being able to dance every day has been so amazing, so fulfilling and therapeutic,” she told E! News. “And then having such a good best friend along the way, who constantly uplifts me and supports me every day, is just so nice.”
When Did Alix and Braxton Start Dating?
The couple first connected back in February 2023 amid some messy-but-false cheating rumors. She revealed on Hot Mess that they actually met in February 2023, explaining, “He’s super cool, super nice, and flash forward two weeks, I get invited to go to the Super Bowl.” But! Alix also noted that they were “nothing but friends” until March, when Braxton “asked me on a date.”
Despite the occasional rumor mill meltdown, they’ve been solid ever since — and this latest round of speculation seems to be just that: speculation.
