Ashley Graham’s Baby Shower Included Tattoos, Piercings and Manicures — and We’re a Little Jealous
If you’re trying to find ideas to have the coolest baby shower ever, look no further than model Ashley Graham‘s blowout bash on November 8. The model, 32, had an incredible party to celebrate the upcoming birth of her first child with husband Justin Ervin — and it included tattoos, piercings and manicures, y’all!
Fashion critic Derek Blasberg, along with stylist Cary Tauben, posted tons of fabulous snaps from the amazing night. The journalist showed off several snaps featuring the manicure, tattoo and piercing stations before getting some quality selfies with the proud mama-to-be. He also got a great pic of Ash (in a gorgeous, custom red dress by Victor Glemaud, mind you) with her mom and mother-in-law. “Proud Grandmas,” he captioned the adorable photo.
Cary captured a great overview of the desserts table, featuring a set of cupcakes spelling out “Welcome Baby Ervin.” But it wasn’t just dessert he focused on — he made sure to grab a solid video of the soon-to-be mom twerking hard in celebration of her baby boy.
The world didn’t know the brunette beauty would be having a boy until Ashley’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 7. Believe it or not, the excited mom spilled the secret right on the air. “A … boy. I’m having a boy!” she shouted excitedly after Ellen asked about the baby’s gender. “I’m going to be a mommy to a boy.”
Ashley and Justin, 31, announced their pregnancy on August 14 — coincidentally, also their nine-year wedding anniversary. “Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world! Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, @mrjustinervin. Life is about to get even better.”
