Ashley Graham Accidentally Reveals Baby’s Gender on ‘Ellen DeGeneres’: ‘I’m Going to Be a Mommy to a Boy’
It’s a boy! Ashley Graham accidentally revealed the gender of her baby while answering rapid-fire questions on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during an interview on Thursday, November 7.
“Are you having a boy or a girl?” Ellen asked the 32-year-old when she suddenly let it slip. “A … boy. I’m having a boy!” she shouted in excitement. “I’m going to be a mommy to a boy.” Congrats, Ash! This is Ashley and her husband Justin Ervin’s first baby. The couple announced the happy news on August 14, which also happens to be their wedding anniversary. “Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life,” she captioned an Instagram post at the time. “It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world! Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, [Justin Ervin]. Life is about to get even better.”
Justin also took to IG to gush about his wife and share his excitement over their bundle of joy. “To my forever love and my daily inspiration. Happy anniversary, @ashleygraham,” he wrote. “These 9 years have played out like a lifetime. I guess it’s because my life really started once you came into it. The Sports Illustrated alum has been sharing her pregnancy journey with fans by posting workout videos or photos in which she’s embracing her body. So far, it’s safe to assume she’s enjoying the experience. “Ashley’s showed her fans and the world that being pregnant can be glorious,” an insider exclusively divulged to Life & Style. “She’s not only calm and actually glowing, but she feels sexy. She’s doing yoga, posing on red carpets in gorgeous clothes [and] she’s feeling herself like never before.” Yes, girl!
The source also revealed that the brunette beauty will most likely miss being pregnant once the baby arrives. “Ashley’s feeling very bittersweet about her pregnancy,” the insider added. “She can’t wait to welcome her baby, but she never imagined how much she would embrace her pregnancy.” We’re so glad she’s having such a positive journey!
