Jordyn Woods Shares Thoughtful Message Amid Kylie Jenner’s Split From Travis Scott: ‘Life Happens for You’
Extending the olive branch? Shortly after Kylie Jenner confirmed her breakup from Travis Scott, the KUWTK star’s former BFF Jordyn Woods took to Twitter to share a thoughtful message about handling negativity.
“Life happens for you, not to you,” the SECNDNTURE founder, 22, began on Thursday, October 3. “All I’m saying is that we constantly we get in our heads and think that it’s us against the world but in reality, everything happens to you for your personal growth! Stick to the script and learn through every lesson.”
Of course, Jordyn’s tweets could apply to a number of situations, including those in her own life. However, based on the timing, it certainly seems like she’s showing her once-bestie some low-key support.
After all, Jordyn has made it clear that she harbors no ill will against Kylie — or her family — following the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal that led to the demise of their friendship. “I love her … that’s my homie” Jordyn told Cosmopolitan UK for her September cover story.
“I hope everything falls into place and that we all can grow and build our relationships with our family and God and come back together one day and be stronger and happier,” she continued. “A lot of people can be around when things are good, but you don’t know who’s really around until things are bad.”
Considering Jordyn was very much a part of Kylie’s life during the early days of her relationship with Travis, it didn’t take fans long to speculate that she was addressing the pair’s split. In addition to several people tagging the makeup mogul, 22, on Twitter, one person also wrote, “Kylie should read this.”
Unsurprisingly, the message didn’t receive any love from Kylie herself. That said, she did go ahead and clear up any pesky rumors that she might be back together with her ex-boyfriend Tyga. “The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is. There was no ‘2 a.m. date with Tyga.’ You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at,” Kylie wrote, referring to headlines that the pair spent an evening together.
Friends or not, Jordyn shared some wise words. Here’s hoping Kylie saw them.
