She seemed to have dropped hints the whole time! Just days after Donald Trump Jr. and his wife Vanessa Trump announced their divorce after 12 years of marriage, multiple sources have claimed that Don Jr. allegedly had an affair with former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day while he was married to Vanessa, after they met at the end of 2011 while filming Season 5 of Celebrity Apprentice. But now, fans are looking back at Aubrey’s social media posts and interviews and they found clues that Aubrey cryptically shared, seeming to hint at the affair all along.

First, Aubrey opened up about being single in an interview with Us Weekly in March 2012 — which would have been towards the end of her months-long affair with Don Jr. — and she seemingly dropped some major hints about why she would have been attracted to him, and why they split.

“Yeah I like strong men that usually have big egos…which is also why we break up,” she said at the time. “Yeah I mean I like a man that can be in a room with anyone and feel more powerful and more in control and fortunately it’s difficult to find those men because those men can do whatever they want and they play hard and they don’t always play fair. In fact, they usually never play fair. So, you know, it’s difficult to find what I’m attracted to and make it a good person.”

Aubrey seemed to drop another pretty obvious clue in 2013 with the release of her single “DJT.” Not only is the song is named after Don Jr.’s initials, but the lyrics seem to depict the end of an affair between Aubrey and an anonymous man. “You want to believe that everything with me was a lie? A fantasy? And you want to go back and live in the life that you had — have — forever?” Aubrey asked on the track. Later in the song, an anonymous man told her he felt like he was being “torn between two worlds.”

Fans think another clue about the alleged affair is the fact that Aubrey was extremely open about her opposition to Don Jr.’s father Donald Trump winning the 2016 election, and she slammed the president in a series of tweets. “I’m heartbroken. Every beautiful piece of progression that our country could have moved toward is now gone,” she tweeted at the time. “You can be a lying abusive ignorant piece of trash that is personally and publicly racist, sexist, [and] homophobic and run our country.”
