Courtney Robertson has exclusively revealed to Life & Style that she’s dating Arie Luyendyk Jr., and now her ex-fiancé, Bachelor Ben Flajnik, is speaking out about the situation.

“[I’m not dating again], not as quickly as she is,” he told Life & Style exclusively at Chef Carla Pellegrino's wine pairing dinner to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Henderson, Nev. “I don’t know what to make of it. The way she handled it wasn’t in the best taste.”

Ben, 30, says it was his family who told him about the new relationship.

“I’m not really one to stay up on gossip, but my sister keeps me in the loop,” he says. “All of my friends were really surprised and disappointed. [Courtney] knew them all.”

According to the former Bachelor, he thought he was on good terms with Arie, who was the runner-up on Emily Maynard’s Bachelorette season.

“I thought I knew him,” Ben, who split with Courtney in early October, confides to Life & Style. “He came up to Sonoma and we hung out for a few days. He seemed like a really nice guy.”

So does he regret his split with the model?

“Breaking up was the right move,” he shares, adding, “That [she's now dating Arie] really closed the door behind her.”

But as Courtney recently revealed to Life & Style, she says had the pair spent more time with each other, they’d still be together. “I think if we’d lived together, we wouldn’t have broken up,” Courtney, 29, shares.
