Kelsey Anderson Teases Career Plans After ‘The Bachelor’ Fame: ‘I’m on a New Path’
Before Kelsey Anderson rose to fame on season 28 of The Bachelor, she worked as a project manager. However, her popularity from the show has opened many professional doors for her. She opens up about her career plans during an exclusive interview with Life & Style, including her Summer Postcards Collection by Cupshe.
“Right now I’m enjoying being creative and trying new things. I’m open to what the future holds, whether that’s more fashion, media or even starting a business,” Kelsey, 27, tells Life & Style about her career goals. “I loved being a project manager, but I think I’m on a new path currently and thankfully always have my education to fall back on and continue.”
One professional passion she’s following is through her new line with Cupshe. The collection – which includes a variety of items from bow-tied bikinis to polished cover-ups and flowy maxi dresses – launches on Thursday, May 15, while the second half of the line will debut later in the month.
“The inspiration came from my favorite summer memories: travel, sunshine and feeling the most confident in your own skin,” Kelsey exclusively tells Life & Style about the collection. “I wanted each piece to feel like a little postcard from a beautiful moment in life.”
Kelsey adds that the line is “super versatile, flattering on all body types and affordable without sacrificing style.”
“We focused on pieces that make you feel confident and comfortable all day long and hope that shows true to everyone,” she adds.
The New Orleans native says she has always loved fashion, so she felt that the line was a perfect professional endeavor when she was approached with the opportunity. “I’ve always loved expressing myself through fashion,” she explains. “Cupshe reached out after The Bachelor and it felt like the perfect match! We both really wanted to create something fun, stylish and inclusive.”
Fans first got to know Kelsey when she competed for Joey Graziadei’s heart on The Bachelor. The couple ended the season engaged, and they are still going strong today. After she met the love of the life on reality TV, Kelsey teases if fans can expect to see her returned to the small screen anytime soon.
“I’d love something competitive and that would be able to show more of me and the different sides of myself,” she says about a possible reality TV return.
Prior to her collaboration with Cupshe, Kelsey exclusively spoke to Life & Style about where she sees her life with Joey, 29, in the next five years. “Hopefully, starting a family. Not sure exactly where yet,” she said in March.
“We’ve been looking at different places. We don’t know if we’ll stay in California. We do love the weather here. It is so nice,” she added about where they will ultimately settle down. “I went to North Carolina this past weekend, and I did not realize it was so cold there. Still, there was snow on the ground. So, I’m definitely spoiled with this weather right now. So, it might be hard to go away.”
After noting that she and Joey are open to moving to somewhere like “Austin or Nashville,” she said that she “definitely” sees them starting “a family” in the near future.
