Ben Affleck Is Frustrated AF Because His Girlfriend Lindsay Shookus Won’t Divorce Her Husband (EXCLUSIVE)
It’s been just a few months since Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus went public as a couple, and the romance has already hit a snag, an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. While Ben, 45, is working to finalize his divorce from Jennifer Garner, Lindsay’s own divorce isn’t happening at all.
The Saturday Night Live producer, 37, who’s been separated from producer Kevin Miller since 2014, “still hasn’t filed papers,” the insider reveals. “Lindsay is in love with Ben, but she’s hesitant to pull the trigger on the divorce, and Ben is getting very impatient.”

In an effort to hopefully speed things along, Ben has been piling on the pressure, hoping that he can convince her that their romance is the real deal. “He’s told Lindsay how much he loves her, and he’s been very public with his affection for her,” the source continues. “He doesn’t know what in the world she’s waiting for.”
As previously reported, Ben and Lindsay started seeing each other back in April — the same month Jennifer, 45, officially filed for divorce, two years after she and the Gone Girl star announced their separation. Following their split, Ben briefly dated their nanny, Christine Ouzounian. The 29-year-old cared for the pair’s three kids — Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5 — during a secret 10-month trial separation.
Since calling it quits, Jen – who first met Ben on the set of 2001’s Pearl Harbor and fell in love with him while shooting 2003’s Daredevil — has done her best to maintain an amicable relationship with her ex for the sake of their children. “We are definitely a modern family,” the Alias alum said of co-parenting with the Oscar winner during an August 2016 appearance on the Today show. “We’re doing really well.”
