Blake Shelton’s Sweet Birthday Message To Gwen Stefani Has Us In Literal Tears
Happy Birthday, Gwen Stefani! The “Hollaback Girl” songstress turns the big 4-9 today, and in honor of her special day, her man Blake Shelton shared a sweet message for her on Instagram.
“Somehow it feels more like MY birthday everyday.. Happy Birthday @gwenstefani!!!” he captioned the pic Gwen on Oct. 3. “I love you!!!” Yeah… we’re officially crying.
In response, she commented, “I love u @blakeshelton can’t believe I got u #thankuGOD gx.”
The pair has been together for more than three years, but they still seem very much in the honeymoon phase. Just last week, Gwen took to social media to a clip of Blake serenading her with a sweet song from his Texoma Shore album — which features songs written about his leading lady. Warning: It’s a lil’ NSFW!
“Pushing my buttons like it ain’t no thang,” Blake sang as Gwen lovingly stared back at him. “If I’m what she wants, she gets what she wants / The neon’s buzzin’ when she pulls that string / Turnin’ me on like it’s her job / Sometimes I think she must get off on / Turnin’ me on, turnin’ me on.”
And apparently her kiddos Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4 — whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale — approve of him, too. In fact, they’ll play a big part in their upcoming nuptials!
“Of course Gwen would choose her kids to be ring bearers,” a source told Life & Style exclusively in September. “They adore Blake and are very excited about approaching the next chapter in all of their lives.” So stinkin’ cute!
