Blake Shelton has always had a special bond with Gwen Stefani’s kids. Even before the couple got married in 2021, the “God Gave Me You” singer had been open about wanting to be a good parent figure to her three sons with Gavin Rossdale.

“It’s one thing for me to be with the kids all the time and be their buddy, but you do have to consider after a while that they start to listen to things that you say and there’s a lot of responsibility that comes with that,” he said while appearing on Today in July 2020.
