Former ‘Love Island’ Star Molly-Mae Shares Toddler Travel Struggles During Trip to the Maldives
Former Love Island star, influencer and entrepreneur Molly-Mae Hague, who goes by Molly-Mae online, is getting real about the struggles of traveling with a toddler.
Molly-Mae and her Love Island love match, boxer Tommy Fury, recently set off on a post-Christmas trip to the Maldives with their two-year-old daughter, Bambi.
While the family of three has been enjoying soaking up the sun on the beach, the journey there was a bit of a challenge.
On her Instagram story, Molly-Mae posted a sweet photo of Tommy and Bambi both sleeping, leaning up against each other on a couch.
Above them on the photo, she wrote, “*reminds self to never book a night flight with toddler again*,” implying the flight there with the two-year-old had been less than ideal.
This comes after Molly-Mae opened up about the challenges of toddler parenting to her followers earlier this month.
In a vlog uploaded to her YouTube channel on December 17, Molly-Mae explained that she and Tommy had been struggling to deal with Bambi’s behavior lately.
“Half the week you’ll be like ‘I’ve made a breakthrough,’ like, she’s listening, she’s being so lovely and I’m, like, loving this, and then, like, you’ll suddenly be like ‘oh my God, like, I don’t know how to handle this, like this is horrendous, what am I doing, like, she’s not listening, like, she hates me,’” she said of Bambi’s behavior in the video.
However, Molly-Mae did add that she and Tommy were going to try and take some advice from her mom on being more serious with Bambi about the consequences of her bad behavior.
“My mum always says that you can’t make false statements and be like ‘you’re not gonna go here if you carry on doing this’ and they carry on doing it and you take them anyways, then that’s when they start to be like ‘oh, like these people are literally just a joke,’” she explained.
Thankfully, the family seems to have recovered from the trip’s rough start with Molly-Mae posting pictures and videos on her Instagram story of them spending time on the beach together and preparing to ring in the new year together there.
