It's been more than a year since beloved Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Bratt Pitt announced their split, and even though 14 months have passed since Angie filed for divorce, it looks like they've reached a standstill in the process. Sources exclusively reveal to Life & Style that the reason for the deadlock is because Angelina wants to reconcile with her estranged husband — but Brad is not interested in getting back together. In fact, he's willing to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars just to get her out of his life.
“In hopes of getting Angie to sign off on the divorce, Brad started throwing huge financial settlement offers at her lawyer,” an insider reveals to Life & Style. “Angie has rejected every single offer, including the most recent one, for $100 million.”

Angelina, 42, was the one who filed for the divorce back in October 2016 and things got nasty real fast between the estranged couple after Angelina all but accused Brad, 53, of being verbally and physically abusive towards their six children — Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 9 — and claimed that Brad had gotten physical with their eldest son while on a private jet just one month before their divorce filing.
As a result of those claims, Brad was at the center of an LA County Department of Children and Family Services investigation, which closed after the allegations went unfounded. Sources say that ordeal —and their subsequent custody battle — are just two of the "million reasons" why Brad doesn't want anything to do with his estranged wife.
“Brad felt he was depicted as an alcohol-swilling, pot-smoking, irresponsible and abusive husband and father — and that it was largely Angelina’s doing. He was shamed and humiliated," says an insider. “Brad feels too much damage has been done and she’s tormented him for too long to consider taking her back. He doesn’t trust Angelina anymore.”
