As a fan of photography, Brooklyn Beckham‘s Instagram has become a place to go for inspo. That aesthetically pleasing palette, those grid goals… it’s safe to say the 18-year-old rarely gets it wrong. Until one of his most recent posts, that is.

Brooklyn’s come under fire from fans over his latest shoot with pal Damon Barker, which saw him post and later delete a photo of himself posing with a gun. The oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham recently moved to New York to pursue a career in the arts — he’s currently enrolled at Parsons School of Design — but followers weren’t happy over the black-and-white pics.

The first upload featured him pointing a gun towards the camera, while another taken from the side proved just as controversial. One fan wrote, “I think that people with a lot of followers could spread good, not promote the use of weapons with so many tragedies and violence happening in the world.” Another said, “Really?! What does this make you? Cool?” before someone else added, “Guns aren’t cool. Dislike.”

After deleting the shots, Brooklyn continued to share more images from the same shoot with…um…less focus on the whole weapons element. But it’s clear Instagram users have since forgiven the teen, because the comments section has once again filled with endless heart_eyes emojis.

The model is also making headlines for reportedly reuniting with ex-girlfriend Chloë Grace Moretz. The 20-year-old actress seemingly confirmed the duo’s reignited romance by posting a photo of the Brit on social media. She captioned the shot — which Brooklyn’s mom Victoria liked — with a simple heart emoji.

The pair originally parted ways a year ago, with Chloë explaining, “We were always running from paparazzi and running from people taking pictures of us. And we were like, ‘You know what? It’s affecting our relationship.'” We’ll always be rooting for these lovebirds!
