Caitlyn Jenner Would Rather Hang out With a Kim Kardashian Look-Alike Than Attend Her Son’s Wedding
It looks like Caitlyn Jenner is officially skipping her son Brody Jenner’s wedding — to hang out with a Kim Kardashian look-alike. The former Olympian was spotted in Vienna ahead of the 25th annual Life Ball, which just happens to be on the same day Brody ties the knot to his longtime girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, posing for photos with transgender model Yasmine Petty,
The Instagram-famous beauty’s resemblance to Caitlyn’s former stepdaughter is definitely hard to ignore. According to TMZ, this event was a “lucrative business opportunity” that Caitlyn could not miss, but a source hinted that the family’s divide is really to blame for her decision to miss her son’s big day. Brody is reportedly “extremely upset” about the whole situation.

It’s also surprising Caitlyn chose to spend the day with Kim’s doppelgänger, given their estranged relationship. In a recent interview, Caitlyn revealed she had not spoken with Kim in over a year. “To be honest, I don’t talk to [the Kardashians] anymore. Kim, I haven’t talked to in a year,” she said while discussing her controversial memoir in the U.K. Kim also confirmed that she was no longer communicating with Caitlyn because of what she wrote about her parents in her book, The Secrets of My Life. “My relationship with Caitlyn was strained,” the mother-of-three said on KUWTK last year. “I was just trying to be respectful. But if you talk about my dad, I will cut you.”
Fans of the Kardashians will also remember that the Life Ball is where Kim was the target of a racist incident during her appearance in 2014. She attended as the date of billionaire Richard Lugner, but left the event early after being confronted by a “comedian” in blackface. At the time, Kim called the experience “a sick joke.”
Family feud aside, Caitlyn won’t be the only Jenner missing out on Brody’s Bali nuptials. The former Hills star revealed that his half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner didn’t even respond to his wedding invite. “My two little sisters, we never even heard from them. They never even RSVP’d I don’t think,” he told People on May 29. “We sent them an invite but we just never heard anything back. They’ll be missed. I would have loved to have had them there.”
In Caitlyn’s defense, the Life Ball is the biggest charity event in Europe, raising millions for HIV/AIDS research every year. So, there’s that.
