Rumors surfaced on Thursday, March 16, that Caitlyn Jenner would be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 8. But TMZ has since claimed the reports aren’t true.
Sources close to production on the Bravo series tell the site that the transgender advocate wasn’t asked to be apart of the cast. Both the Housewives network and E!, which aired the 67-year-old’s previous shows Keeping Up With the Kardashians and I Am Cait, are owned by NBCUniversal.
We wouldn’t be surprised if the former Olympian returned to reality television, given that she’s set to release her memoir, The Secrets of My Life, later this year. There’s nothing like a little screen time to help sell books!
Back in 2015, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge said she’d love for Caitlyn to join the fold. "I'm so proud of her. I think that she is beautiful and amazing and inspirational and I thought that she would make a great addition to the housewife chain,” she told E! News.
No doubt Caitlyn's love life would be a popular topic of conversation. The father-of-six sparked dating rumors earlier this week when she was spotted out to dinner with a mystery brunette. And in February, she brought transgender model Andreja Pejić as her date to Elton John’s annual Oscars viewing party.

“Caitlyn discreetly grabbed Andreja’s hand,” an onlooker said at the time. “They talked to people as they walked over to the bar. Caitlyn put her hand on her back as they walked.”
Life & Style previously reported that the Arthur Ashe Courage Award winner had signed up for a transgender dating site. “Caitlyn is using an alias and doesn’t have a profile picture up,” a source revealed. “She wants to make sure her future partner doesn’t want her for her money and fame.” The source added that she’s sticking “to the transgender dating pool because the trans community understands her lifestyle and won’t judge her."
