The spotlight can be a cruel place, and Cardi B definitely knows that. It can be so bad, in fact, that it’s the reason behind why the world has still yet to meet her four-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari.

On the red carpet of her Fashion Nova collaboration launch party on Wednesday, Nov. 14, the 26-year-old revealed that she’s overprotective of her baby, especially in the public eye.”I’m scared of sharing her to the world. There are too many mean people out there,” she told Entertainment Tonight. However, she did say she’ll eventually share a photo of her. “One day, soon,” she promised.

The rapper-turned-fashion-designer admitted she often has to fight the temptation to show off her baby girl to the world. “Sometimes I do want to show people how beautiful and how precious she is. She’s so precious,” she said. “There’s a lot of people that have crazy minds, you know. I want to protect her! She’s my little buggy.” Ugh, how heartbreaking!

Since her daughter’s birth in July, the “I Like It” singer has teased snippets of her baby on social media. By now, we’re familiar with her baby’s coos or hands, but we’re still waiting to see her face. Cardi even turned down a seven-figure deal asking for the first photos of her Kulture, so you know she’s serious about her baby’s privacy.

On the bright side, keeping baby Kulture to herself and husband, Offset, must be extra special. Cardi is loving being a mom and even revealed she wants to have two more kids in the future. And according to her, her rapper beau is doing a great job at parenting. “He is changing diapers, but I’ve been seeing Offset being a dad. He already has three kids, so I already fell in love with the way that he was a dad already. I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I can have a little one with this guy.’ He’s really good,” she explained.

For now, though, Cardi B will continue taking the world by storm. She’s burning up the charts with her music, slaying the fashion world, and will soon be on Netflix with her new music competition series, Rhythm + Flow, in 2019. Yes, girl!
