Ryan Gosling, Tori Spelling, and More Stars Who Tried to Fire Their Costars

John Stamos tried to get the Olsen twins fired during Full House's first season.

"I did try to get them fired when they were kids, but, you know, they were kids," he said.

"The Olsen twins cried a lot," he also told reporters. "It was very difficult to get the shot."

Sharon Osbourne had Leah Remini fired from The Talk.

"Sharon thought me and Holly [Robinson] were 'ghetto,'" Leah tweeted. "We were not funny, awkward and didn't know ourselves. She has the power that was given to her."

Tori Spelling got Shannen Doherty fired from 90210.

"I remember… I could hear the door fly open and everyone screaming and crying," Tori revealed during Tori Spelling: Celebrity Lie Detector. "That's when I was told the boys just had to break up Jennie [Garth] and Shannen. It was like a fist fight."

After the fight, Tori called her father, 90210 producer Aaron Spelling, and got Shannen booted from the show. "I felt like I was a part of something, a movement, that cost someone their livelihood," Tori said. "Was [Shannen] a horrible person? No. She was one of the best friends I ever had."

Lisa Raye got Stacey Dash fired from Single Ladies.

“In Hollywood, I’ve learned to be a boss,” she said. “I had to say to Stacey Dash, ‘If you don’t get your motherf—ing finger out of my face…’ So for our second season of Single Ladies, there was a replacement for Stacey Dash.”

Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro championed to get Janet Hubert fired from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

"She went nuts!" Alfonso said. "Long story short…there were days when we were all on the set and she would literally go off on people…We felt like, when we were doing The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that we were a family…She, at that point, ruined that…and she was then fired."

As for Janet's side of the story, she told The Huffington Post, "My departure was planned for a long time… There will never be a reunion of the Fresh Prince. Will Smith and Alfonso destroyed a 20-year-career with untruths."

Alec Baldwin got Shia LaBeouf fired from Orphans.

"There was friction between us from the beginning," Alec said. "One day he attacked me in front of everyone. He said, 'You’re slowing me down, and you don’t know your lines. And if you don’t say your lines, I’m just going to keep saying my lines.' We all sat, frozen.

"So I took the stage manager…to another room, and I said one of us is going to go. I said, 'I’ll tell you what, I’ll go.' I said don’t fire the kid, I’ll quit. They said no, no, no, no, and they fired him."

Ryan Gosling tried to have costar Rachel McAdams replaced in The Notebook.

Director Nick Cassavetes revealed in an interview about Ryan and Rachel's tension on set:

"Ryan came to me, and there’s 150 people standing in this big scene, and he says, 'Nick come here.' And he’s doing a scene with Rachel and he says, 'Would you take her out of here and bring in another actress to read off camera with me?' I said, 'What?' He says, 'I can’t. I can’t do it with her. I’m just not getting anything from this.'"

Nick rejected the offer and encouraged the actors to work through the tension.

Jenelle Evans didn't want Farrah Abraham to return to Teen Mom OG.

After Farrah was fired (and then later rehired) from the show, Jenelle admitted on Twitter that Farrah's presence on the show was not wanted amongst her fellow costars.

"Have u ever thought to yourself that maybe JUST MAYBE MTV doesn't want porn stars on their TV that use to be on Teen Mom?" she wrote. "They want to promote PREVENTING pregnancy not PROMOTING Sexual Intercourse. duh."

Charlie Sheen fired Selma Blair from Anger Management with a rude text.

After hearing that Selma was complaining about his work ethic on set, Charlie reportedly fired the costar in a text and even called her a "c-nt."

In retaliation, Selma filed a $1.2 million lawsuit against the show for wrongful termination.

Nene Leakes tried to have Cynthia Bailey kicked off The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

During the season six reunion, Cynthia accused Nene of trying to get her fired.

"The bottom line is, once we stopped being friends, I didn’t try to get you kicked out of the group,” Cynthia said. Nene denied this.
