Chick-fil-A Rings in 2026 With Frosted Sodas, Floats, and Golden Fan Cups
On January 5, Chick-fil-A celebrated its 80th birthday, and the fast-food chain is marking the milestone with new offerings for fans.
Two new beverage creations, inspired by classic soda fountain favorites, are now part of Chick-fil-A’s permanent menu. Both give a modern spin to the beloved Icedream® dessert:
- Frosted Sodas: Hand-spun with Icedream and a choice of fountain beverage, these creamy drinks offer a smooth, nostalgic twist.
- Floats: Layers of soda and Icedream create a fizzy, foamy treat that’s perfect for sipping or scooping.
Core flavors include Coca-Cola®, Dr Pepper®, and Sprite®, with additional options like Fanta®, Powerade®, Hi-C®, Barq’s® Root Beer, and diet varieties.
The Original Chicken Sandwich continues to take center stage, now paired with limited-time retro packaging inspired by Chick-fil-A’s heritage.
Fans will also see Specialty Plush Cows appear throughout the year, each with unique designs available exclusively in restaurants.
Adding to the excitement, four retro-style Classic Cups will rotate with new designs every few weeks, inspired by the Chick-fil-A archives. Among them is the highly sought-after Golden Fan Cup, part of the Golden Fan Cup Sweepstakes. A total of 3,000 Golden Fan Cups will be randomly available at participating locations.
All Classic Cups are wrapped to keep the designs hidden, so if you happen to unwrap a Golden Fan Cup, it comes with a winning card. Each card includes instructions and a QR code to claim free Chick-fil-A for a year, including 52 entrées such as Original Chicken Sandwiches, Chick-fil-A Nuggets, and more at participating restaurants.
A line of “Newstalgia”-themed merchandise—including apparel and accessories—will roll out in 2026 on shop.chick-fil-a.com.
In a press release, Khalilah Cooper, the vice president of brand strategy, advertising & media spoke about the exciting anniversary.
“This year marks more than an anniversary — it’s a celebration of the memories, meals and meaningful moments that have brought people together at Chick-fil-A for generations.”
