Congratulations are in order for Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger! In the wee hours of Jan. 13, the Avengers actor, 39, revealed that he popped the question to his ladylove, 29…. and she said yes. Just over one year after announcing his split from Anna Faris, Chris Pratt is engaged once again.

“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!” he wrote beside an adorable photo kissing his new bride-to-be on Instagram. “I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go! 💍🙏♥️.”

The photo also shows off the massive rock on the author’s finger, which appears to be a large oval diamond set on a thin white gold band. In a now-deleted addition to the caption, Chris revealed that he would have preferred to wait to announce the happy news, but he was worried paparazzi would see the ring and spoil the surprise if he didn’t do it himself.

To be fair, it’s not exactly a surprise. Chris has been head-over-heels for Katherine for the past year, sharing his favorite qualities about her during her birthday this past December. “Your smile lights up the room,” he wrote. “I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love, and care.♥️🍾🎉🎂.”

After many outings and even a trip to Disneyland, it’s clear that Chris’ son Jack, who he shares with Anna, is just as crazy about Katherine as Chris is.

Although Chris and Anna split after eight years together, she is “relieved” her ex has found a great woman to share his life with, according to a source from Life & Style magazine. “Chris and Anna share custody of Jack, so like any protective mom, Anna was slightly wary about introducing their son to someone new. But once she got to know Katherine that all changed,” the insider dished. “Anna’s incredibly impressed with how amazing Katherine is with Jack and is relieved that Chris is in a relationship with a kind, loving woman.”

We can’t wait to see him at their wedding! Congrats, you crazy kids.
