The couple of nearly one year made their red carpet debut at Entertainment Weekly’s pre-SAG Awards party. "It’s really mostly about energy — Do I get on with someone? Because looks are going to fade," she said of the relationship. "If I can’t get along with somebody and have a friend, then what’s the point?"

She continued, "It wasn’t like [he] came out of the woodwork just because I’m on the show. It was just organic, and I’m grateful for that.”
The brunette beauty also opened up about a health scare that inspired a 100-pound weight loss. Right before her 30th birthday, Chrissy was hospitalized after suffering a panic attack — and was told she needed to shed some pounds. "I was so gung-ho, I lost 100 lbs. in less than five months,” she explained. “All I did was eat a 2,000-calorie diet and walk 20 minutes a day.”
However, Chrissy reveals her weight has never interfered with her dating life. "It’s one of those things where if you’re secure and you’re happy mostly, you find really wonderful people who come into your life,” she said. The plus-sized actress also has another reason to celebrate after the hit NBC series got picked up for two more seasons.
"Oh my God. Thank you guys so much for being huge fans of the show, and for all your love and support." her co-star and TV mom Mandy Moore said in an Instagram video. "We are beyond thrilled. There's so much more about the Pearsons that you guys get to know about, and we're psyched to bring it all to you."
