Creating Christmas Magic Goes Hilariously Wrong For Chrissy Teigen Instagram Video Shows
Chrissy Teigen shared a funny holiday mishap that occurred while playing a holiday-themed game with her family.
“Merry chrithmath from our family to yours!!!!!!!” Teigen hilariously wrote in the caption, revealing the stub of her original tooth in several clips and photos.
In the video, titled “Growing Candy Cane (Gone Wrong),” Teigen was seen helping her kids—Luna, 9, Miles, 7, Esti, and Wren, both 2, fill plant pots with candy canes and crumbled Oreo cookies while sitting around their dining table at home.
A follow-up clip, filmed three days later, showed Teigen on a couch surrounded by piles of larger candy canes. She revealed that she had knocked out her tooth while preparing the treats for her children.
“I’ve been working on candy cane-growing. I tried to open one of these bad boys … my tooth fell off,” she said laughing, showing off her old whittled front tooth.
Teigen explained that she still had “the whole piece” of her veneer, taking the situation in stride.
“This is what moms do for their kids, so you can think you grew a candy cane,” said Teigen. “I was trying to create magic — now I have no tooth. And tomorrow’s the Winter Sing … oh my God!” she added, referring to her kids’ school recital.
Teigen was then seen driving her children to their recital and watching from the audience while wearing a face mask partially covering her mouth.
“Had to go to recital like this,” wrote Teigen. Her husband, John Legend, commented, “😂😂😂😂.”
It didn’t take long for Teigen to fix her tooth. She later posted an Instagram Stories video of herself in the dentist’s chair having her veneer refitted.
“We are back in business, shout out to the tooth goat,” she wrote over the clip, tagging her longtime cosmetic dentist, Dr. Laurence Rifkin.
After her emergency appointment, Teigen shared one last photo on her Instagram Stories showing herself with her old tooth alongside daughter Luna.
“Was cool to say hi to my old tooth for a while hiiii old tooth!” Teigen wrote over the image.
