Chrissy Teigen’s Post-Oscars Hangover Is All of Us: ‘Booze Is Poison’
Turns out, A-list celebrities are not exempt from killer hangovers. On Monday, February 25, Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to reveal that she definitely had a bit too much to drink at the 2019 Oscars. “Oh my god, I feel like absolute s–t,” the mother-of-two, 33, wrote. Followed by, “I hereby go sober for at least the week. Booze is poison.”
We definitely appreciate Chrissy’s honesty. Most people declare that they’re “never drinking again.” Of course, because the Cravings author is known for her #relatable content, plenty of fans rallied behind her in the comments sharing their own hangover remedies. “Get some Pedialyte, you will feel better, I promise,” one user commented. “Smoke a joint!” added another.
Our favorite response, however, came from comedian and Parks and Recreation alum Ben Schwartz. “Gonna drink screwdrivers and play Mario Kart in like 10 minutes. You wanna come by?” the actor, 37, asked. To be fair, a little hair of the dog usually does the trick.
That said, we bet that Chrissy opted to chug her kid’s Pedialtye supply instead. Sorry, Luna and Miles. We’re sure that mommy will buy more.
Regardless of how crummy Chrissy may feel post-Oscars, she and her hubby, John Legend, looked amazing at the Vanity Fair afterparty. In true Chrissy form, she decided to not attend the actual awards show, but instead, eat lettuce wraps and get ready.
Ironically enough, it’s possible that drinking on a stomach full of what is essentially rabbit food and seasoned meat is what resulted in the killer hangover. Just sayin.’ Here’s hoping that everyone’s favorite social media queen recovers soon enough. Then again, hangovers in your 30s last 10 years. Drink more water in-between cocktails next time, girl!
