Help! Pregnant Christina Anstead and Husband Ant Still Have ‘No Idea’ What to Name Their Son
It’s crunch time! Flip or Flop star Christina Anstead took to Instagram on Thursday, August 8, to share a selfie of her growing baby bump. Cute, right? There’s just one itty bitty problem. She and her husband, Ant, still haven’t chosen a moniker for their baby boy.
“35 weeks 🎉💙,” the blonde beauty, 36, captioned the shot. “@ant_anstead time to pick a baby name ⏰.” In response, Ant, 40, said, “I still have NO IDEA!! xx.” Oops!
Luckily, several fans came to the rescue with suggestions. “Chase is a cute name for a boy,” one person wrote, while another added, “Aston or Apollo would be cool.” A third, meanwhile, did their research. “His kids’ names start with letter A, her kids’ names have the long A sound … combine the two: new baby starts with a long A sound? Avery … Ace … Adrian … IDK. Just a #blended idea.” TBH, we can get behind that.
The HGTV personality, who also hosts Christina on the Coast, revealed she was expecting in March. “@ant_anstead and I are so excited to announce #babyanstead coming this September!!” Christina wrote, along with a photo of the sonogram. “The kids are all so excited to meet their new sibling ♥️ #5 #Gonnaneedabiggercar! 🚌 😂” Ant shared his own version of the announcement at the time and said, “And then…… there were FIVE!!! (Well …. four and a half! Will be five in September)!! 🙏🏻❤️🔥🔥”
Christina already shares two children — Taylor, 8, and Brayden, 3 — with her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, but he’s got nothing but love for his former flame. In fact, a source told Life & Style in January he’s “genuinely happy” for her. Aww.
Perhaps it’s because he has a new ladylove of his own. Tarek went Instagram official with Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young on August 8. “It’s official!!!! After more than three years on my own, I’m so PROUD to say that this beautiful, sweet and talented young lady is my girlfriend!” he began his lengthy caption. “I’ll be honest and say I never thought I would meet someone special in my life after the last three years. Then, out of the blue, @heatherraeyoung walked into my life. The first time I saw her smile she ‘did that thing to my tummy’ and I knew right away I needed to get to know her … so I asked her out!! She said yes.”
BRB, crying. We’re so glad the former couple has found happiness! Maybe they can help choose a name for baby Anstead?
