Costars to Lovers! All of the Celebrities Who Fell In Love On Set
While most of us are still swiping through dating apps hoping for one normal match, celebs have it way easier — they’re meeting their next great love story right on set.
From Mr. & Mrs. Smith turning Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt into one of the most talked-about couples in Hollywood history (sorry, Jen!) to Spider-Man co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland making all our teen rom-com dreams come true, on-set chemistry clearly hits different when you’re famous.
The tradition is practically as old as Hollywood itself: stars lock eyes across a soundstage, sparks fly, and suddenly, life imitates art. Whether it’s a steamy teen drama (Riverdale and Outer Banks casts, we’re looking at you) or a big-screen blockbuster, these actors prove that movie magic can sometimes turn into the real deal — at least for a while.
Of course, not every on-set love story ends with a walk down the aisle — some end in heartbreak, headlines, or, uh, major drama (hi again, Brad Pitt). But that’s part of what makes these pairings so iconic.
So grab your popcorn, because we’re rounding up Hollywood’s most unforgettable on-set romances — from the couples who are still going strong to the ones who left chaos in their wake. Scroll through our gallery below for a list of some of our favorite costars-to-lovers.
