David Burtka Gushes, “Having Kids Deepened My Love for Neil” (EXCLUSIVE)
It’s all love! Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have been together for 14 years, and they’ve spent half of that time as parents. And David tells Life & Style that his relationship with Neil, 44, has changed for the better since twins Harper and Gideon, 7, came into the picture.
“It’s so much deeper,” David, 42, told Life & Style. “It’s a deeper sense of love and understanding.”
Raising children hasn’t always been easy for the duo, who got married in 2014, but it’s been worth it. “I think all couples go through sort of a rocky period where you’re not so sure with the kids, and there’s a new energy,” David reflects. “But now things are more smooth than ever.”
