David Foster and Katharine McPhee Will Sign a Prenup Before Tying the Knot (EXCLUSIVE)
Before anyone walks down the aisle, music producer David Foster, 68, and his 33-year-old singer-actress girlfriend Katharine McPhee both agree there will be a prenuptial agreement, Life & Style has exclusively learned.
“David’s insisting on a prenup,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “He simply sees it as a necessary part of any marriage.” David’s been married four times before, most recently to Yolanda Hadid, and knows how important it is to protect his $36 million fortune.
A rep for Katharine tells Life & Style, “It’s actually Katharine who would ask him to sign a prenup.” She’s gone through an expensive divorce herself (from ex-husband Nick Cokas) and gets where David is coming from. “If anyone should understand,” the source adds, “it’s Katharine.”
