Breakup AlertFans Fear Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik Have Split (Again), And It’s All Thanks To Instagram
Based on social media, there’s a chance Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik may no longer be together. The “Pillowtalk” singer recently unfollowed the model on Instagram, leading many to believe the couple has split.
It doesn’t help that earlier this month, Gigi retweeted a cryptic message from R&B singer Kehlani that read: “i do not owe you myself. i do not owe you any information about me beyond what i choose for you to know. i do not owe you strength when i am weak. i do not owe you answers just because you ask.” Also, fans have noticed that it’s been a while since the two posted pics together on social media, which is something they frequently did. The last time that happened was on Oct. 21.
Gigi and Zayn have been together since late 2015, with the exception of when they called it quits for three months in March of 2018 before getting back together in June. At the time of their brief breakup, the two took to social media to address their split after it had been all over the press. “Gigi and I have an incredibly meaningful, loving, and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish news could have come from us first. We love all. xZ,” Zayn wrote in a personal tweet at the time.

Meanwhile, Gigi got more candid about their relationship status: “Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years … not only in the relationship, but in life in general. I’m forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever’s meant to be will always be. xG.”
During that time, Zayn had unfollowed Gigi on Instagram, while Gigi still followed him. Could history be repeating itself again? Only time will tell.
