Tonight's highly anticipated episode of Scandal will finally answer every fans' burning question: Did Huck die?

Last week, the assassin turned Olivia Pope's go-to hacker, played by Guillermo Diaz, was shot multiple times by his "girlfriend" Meg who turned out to be a double agent.

Even worse, the hit may have been ordered by fellow Gladiator Abby, played by Darby Stanchfield.

Leaving his fate hanging in the air, fans of Shondaland have reason to worry, given the TV creator's penchant for unexpected deaths.

However, Guillermo is optimistic his character's storyline will not come to a premature end.

"There’s hope for Huck,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “He’s a former trained killer spy who lived in a hole for three months. He’s been through a whole hell of a lot, so I’m hoping that he will have that inner strength to make it through this, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

As expected, fans of the ABC thriller have their fingers crossed he will make a speedy recovery.

"All I know is my Huck better not be dead," one commenter wrote on Instagram while another added, "Huck better be alive damn you Abby!!"

The episode will go back to Election night, and viewers will see everything from Abby's point of view, before finding out how the rest of OPA reacts to the betrayal.

"The events from election night are retold from Abby's perspective, revealing a formidable thirst for power and an explosive secret she's been keeping," TV Guide reports.

"It’s so insane,” Kerry Washington added. “There’s a moment when Olivia responds to what Abby has done that, when I read it on the page, shocked me and made me cry.”
