Happy birthday, Sarah Jessica Parker! The actress turned 54 on March 25 and looks just as gorgeous as ever. It turns out, it’s likely (almost) all natural. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe, who did not treat Sarah, revealed exclusively to Life & Style what cosmetic procedures it looks like the star has undergone during her decades in the spotlight.
“Over the years, Sarah Jessica Parker has had the usual – Botox and fillers – since she has no wrinkles in her forehead and cheek area,” Dr. Rowe theorized about the Sex and the City actress.
Surprisingly, a lot of people use these skin-firming injectables as part of their beauty maintenance. The surgeon continued, “These are such typical procedures for all types of people – celebrity or not – because they offer noticeable benefits with very little risk, especially when administered by a board-certified plastic surgeon. Getting into the habit of using preventative Botox, fillers and lasers can often counteract or dramatically push off the need for aging-related surgery.”
As for SJP, that’s where the ~enhancement~ road ends. “But Botox and fillers appear to be the extent of Parker’s cosmetic surgery ventures. It doesn’t seem like she had her eyes and neck operated on.”
The doctor was sure to note that the actress still has her distinct features that she’s best known for and has normal features for a woman in her 50s. He said, “Parker still has those famous ‘bedroom eyes’ or full upper eyelids as well as an untouched neck that looks appropriate for her age.”
The Failure to Launch star stays healthy by walking all over New York City (including the four staircases in her West Village townhouse), doing yoga three times a week and chasing around her three kids — James, 16, and twins Marion and Tabitha, 9. While she tries to stick to a diet full of fish, lean meats and low carb vegetables, she’s not opposed to the occasional treat. “We always have Tootsie Rolls and York Peppermint Patties,” the star dished. “I love to eat. I think about food all the time.” Same, Sarah.
Another year older, another year of showing the world how to age with beauty and grace.
