Donnie Wahlberg Talks Working With Wife Jenny McCarthy 10 Years Into Marriage: ‘We Have a Good Shorthand’
Working with a spouse can really test a couple’s relationship. But Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy have found cohosting Very Scary Lovers to be, in a word, effortless. “We’ve been married for 10 years now, together for 12,” the actor, 55, exclusively tells Life & Style. “We have a good shorthand, and we know each other’s strengths.” As well as their weaknesses! Having watched Jenny, 52, become a “wizard with the teleprompter” over the years, Donnie was worried that he wouldn’t be as good at it. So, his wife offered him a few pointers. “She worked with me on that,” says Donnie. “It was fun to watch her do it and to see her be impressed [by my skills now, too].”
