Erika Jayne Sparks Rumors That She’s Leaving ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
It sounds like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast might get a little smaller next season! Fans speculated that singer and actress Erika Jayne won’t return for Season 9 after she cryptically posted a pic on Instagram, captioned, “ERIKA has left the building.”
The Bravolebrity, 46, disabled the comments feature on the photo, though many took to Twitter to sound off on the rumors. “Erika Jayne is a mean, nasty, dark woman who has some SERIOUS issues. I sincerely hope she doesn’t return next season,” one user tweeted, while another added, “Oh please say it’s true and @erikajayne has quit from #RHOBH — her coldness went subzero so far at the reunion.” A third chimed in with, “Can we all agree that @erikajayne is cancelled? Get over yourself, you’re a cocktail waitress from Atlanta.”
Erika made a lot of enemies this season thanks to the way she spoke with newcomer Teddi Mellencamp. The ladies had a blowout fight at dinner, where Teddi left in tears after Erika warned her not to “f–k with” her. This stemmed from the 36-year-old’s suggestion that Erika was “pretending to have amnesia,” as the Pretty Mess author “forgot” about some nasty comments she made about their co-stars Dorit Kemsley and Lisa Vanderpump.
While the DWTS alum has yet to confirm or deny that she’ll part ways with the reality series, a Real Housewives source, who tweets under the handle @DeeRHOYT, shared a hot tip back in April. “Hearing that @erikajayne has quit #RHOBH and that a statement will be published after this season airs,” Dee wrote. “Could just be a rumor, however after this season plus reunion Part 1, I would not be surprised if this was true. And I can’t say I would care either, bye girl!”
If Erika does decide to call it quits, she has her singing and acting careers to keep her busy. Only time will tell!
