Struggling to keep your new year's resolution to get into shape? Look no further than Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave for some weight loss inspiration. The blonde beauty has been very open about her body image struggles and maintaining a healthy lifestyle — but her before-and-after photos prove she's finally in control of her weight.
At one point, following the birth of her son, Teddi, 36, admitted to weighing more than 200 pounds — but that only inspired her to kickstart her transformation and launch her fitness company LA Workout Junkie, where she offers other advice and accountability coaching. Those that know me have seen me fluctuate in weight my entire life, they also know that this #lifechange has been the only thing to stick," she wrote on Instagram of her new lifestyle. "I work hard every day and hold myself accountable. There is no magic pill or potion that helped me reach my goals but being held accountable and holding myself accountable made all of the difference in the world to me."
In another post, she credits her kids, Sloane, 5, and Cruz, 3, with husband Edwin Arroyave for keeping her on track. "To each his own on how you want to live but making choices in my diet and workout has given me a lot more options and ways to step out of my comfort zone and create my own happiness," she added. "As I continue thinking about the woman I want my kids to see as they grow up, I want it to be someone that feels good about themselves and doesn't define happiness by what they have or have not eaten."
Teddi joined the cast of RHOBH this season, and the daughter of singer John Mellencamp, unsurprisingly fit right in with the other ladies on the Bravo series. "I’m straightforward and I tell it like it is,” Teddi told People of joining the cast. “And I love learning about everybody from different cultures, different lifestyles, whatever it is. How could I turn it down?”
