Eva Longoria Addresses Those Pesky Pregnancy Rumors… Yet Again
The Hollywood rumor mill is again filled with gossip that Eva Longoria is pregnant with her first child. On Monday, Sept. 4, the 42-year-old actress stepped out in Athens, Greece, with her handsome husband, José “Pepe” Bastón, donning a noticeably flowy floral dress. Just a few days earlier, Eva hit the beach with Pepe, 49, sporting what many fans thought was a tiny baby bump.
On Wednesday, Aug. 30, the Desperate Housewives star was also photographed precariously holding a laptop over her stomach while out and about in LA. So, naturally, people couldn’t help but wonder if she had some exciting news to share. But, on Thursday, Sept. 8, Eva’s rep put the pregnancy rumors to rest once and for all by confirming to Us Weekly that she is not expecting a baby. This isn’t the first time Eva has battled pregnancy gossip in recent months. In late April, she candidly opened up to [Entertainment Tonight](https://www.etonline.com/news/217145exclusiveevalongoriatalks1yearweddinganniversarywithjosebaston)_ about paparazzi photos taken of her while celebrating her hubby’s 49th birthday in Hawaii. In the snapshots, the star appeared to have a baby bump, but she assured it was just a food baby! “I saw some pictures of myself [looking] really fat on a boat. I have to tell you, all I did was eat cheese. So that’s the news of the day. I’m not pregnant, just eating a lot of cheese, a lot of wine, a lot of pancakes,” she revealed at the time.
Eva and Pepe tied the knot in Mexico in May 2016 after announcing their engagement in December 2015. “Everyone is saying I’m glowing but I’m not pregnant! I’m just in love,” she told In Touch shortly after her wedding. We can’t wait to see if Eva and Pepe start a family in the future!
