Celebrate Your Fourth of July With These Red, White and Boozy Cocktails!

Peach Tea Lemonade

The Peach Tea Lemonade is pretty involved, but totally worth it! Here’s what you’ll need: 

1 ½ cups Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka
8 black tea bags
 2 cups boiling water
4 cups cold water
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
 1 batch peach simple syrup 
Garnish: peach slices and fresh mint

Directions: To make the simple syrup, combine peaches, sugar, and water in a large saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil. Using a potato masher or wooden spoon, break up the peaches. Turn down the heat to low and simmer for five minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and allow the mixture to come to room temperature. Strain. If you’re not using the mixture immediately, transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to one month.

To make the cocktail, add the tea bags to a heat proof pitcher. Pour the boiling water over the tea bags and allow to steep for 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the cold water, lemon juice, peach simple syrup, and vodka. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours. 

When you’re ready to serve, fill a mason jar or tall glass with ice and add the tea. Garnish with peach slices and fresh mint.

Red, White and Berry Crush

To make the Red, White and Berry you’ll need:

1.5 ounces Smirnoff Red, White & Berry
4 ounces raspberry lemonade
2 ounces lemon-lime soda

Directions: Fill a tall glass with crushed ice. Add vodka and raspberry lemonade. Top with lemon lime soda. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh raspberries.

Red, White and Berry Sangria

Everyone will love this Red, White and Berry Sangria! Here’s what you’ll need to mix it up: 

½ cup Smirnoff Red, White & Berry
1 cup white cranberry juice
1 (750ml) bottle Pinot Grigio
1 cup lemon-lime soda
 1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
 1 cup blackberries
1 cup honeydew chunks

Directions: Fill a large pitcher with fruit. Add vodka, cranberry juice, and Pinot Grigio; stir to combine. Store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Stir in lemon-lime soda right before serving.

Chandon American Summer Brut Spritz

Here’s what you’ll need for the simple, yet delicious Chandon American Summer Brut Spritz:

  3 parts Chandon Limited-Edition American Summer Brut
2 parts quality Italian Aperitif
 1 part Sparkling Water 

Directions: Add Italian Aperitif to wine glass with ice. Add splash of sparkling water and stir. Top with Chandon. Garnish with an orange wheel.

Lone Star Sparkler

Looking to light up your night? Here’s what you’ll need for the Lone Star Sparkler: 

1 ½ oz Fistful of Bourbon
2 oz Pear puree
¾ oz Ginger syrup
½ oz Lemon
2 oz Sparkling wine

 Directions: Combine ingredients except sparkling wine and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Top with sparkling wine Garnish with a star anise.

Out of Office

Out of Office was created by Hendrick’s ambassador Sebastien Derbomez. Here’s what you’ll need to mix it up: 

1 ½ parts Hendrick’s Gin
2 parts Cucumber Juice
6 chunks of rock melon
¾ parts Ancho Verde
¾ parts Lime juice
¾ parts Passion Fruit syrup

 Directions: Shake and strain in a tiki mug and add tiki garnish.

Tully Smash

This beautiful beverage was created by Tim Herlihy, National Ambassador for Tullamore D.E.W. Here’s what you’ll need to make it: 

2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original
0.5 parts Fresh Lemon Juice
0.75 parts Rich Demerara Syrup
8 Mint Leaves
2 Lemon Wedges
3 Brandied Cherries

Directions: Add Tullamore D.E.W., lemon juice and syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over glass filled with fresh pebble ice. Garnish with lemon wedges, mint leaves and cherries.

The Boulevardier

The Boulevardier is brought to you by Glenfiddich Ambassador ambassador Allan Roth. Here’s what you’ll need: 

1.5 parts Glenfiddich Fire & Cane
¾ part sweet vermouth
¾ part Campari
Orange peel, to garnish

Directions: Stir ingredients except for orange peel in a mixing glass then strain over ice into a double rocks glass.  Express orange peel over drink and drop in.
