Grieving Mother Receives Incredible Gift After Losing Son in Freak Accident
Losing a child is every parent’s worst nightmare, and for mother Michelle, that nightmare became a reality when her 19-year-old son Blaine was killed in a freak accident at work nearly three months ago.
But thanks to her three other children and the kind folks at radio station KIIS 1065, a few heavy burdens have been lifted off her shoulders.

While being secretly taped in the car, Michelle is called out directly by Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O as she listens. Having heard that she’s dreading going back to work, the pair give her the surprise of a lifetime.
“I know, Michelle, that you have been struggling to deal with this. This is what we’d like to do for you,” says host Jackie O. “For six months we would like to pay your mortgage so that you don’t have to rush back to work and you can take your time to grieve properly.”

Michelle bursts into tears when she hears the news — but that’s not all! “And we also know that Blaine was doing all the outdoor renovations for you, and to mark his memory, we’d like to finish off those outdoor renovations with $5,000 of work,” the host added.
