Hailey Bieber Seemingly Unfollows Justin Bieber as His Instagram Is Temporarily Deleted, Reactivated
Hailey Bieber seemingly temporarily unfollowed husband Justin Bieber on Instagram as his profile appeared to be temporarily deleted and reactivated hours later.
Rumors of trouble in paradise for the couple swirled when eagle-eyed fans noticed that the model, 28, seemingly stopped following the “Peaches” singer, 31, on Instagram on Sunday, March 30, according to multiple reports. However, the alleged unfollowing appeared to come after Justin seemingly deactivated his page, only to reactivate the profile less than one day later.
Justin was reportedly still not showing up under Hailey’s “following” list as of Monday morning, according to Page Six. However, Life & Style confirmed that the Rhode founder was following her husband on Instagram again and vice versa as of 1:30 p.m. ET on Monday.
Sources told TMZ that Hailey did not intentionally unfollow Justin. Instead, it was allegedly a “glitch” when the “Baby” singer deactivated his Instagram that caused the app to make it appear as though the influencer stopped following him.
Shortly after reports began circulating about the apparent unfollowing, Hailey addressed the situation in a TikTok comment.
“It’s a glitch. Didn’t unfollow him. Hope this helps!” she wrote under a video from a fan detailing the alleged incident, according to Fox News.
Justin and Hailey were the subjects of similar reports in January when the Canadian singer temporarily unfollowed his wife on the social media platform. However, Justin claimed at the time that he was hacked.
“Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “S–t is getting suss out here.”

Justin and Hailey, who tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed son Jack Blues Bieber in August 2024, have faced rumors of marital troubles several times in the past year. Hailey denied the speculation in a March 2024 Instagram post, writing, “Just FYI the stories and constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100 [percent] of the time wrong. Made out of thin air… come from the land of delusion. So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories, but just know they’re always false, xx sorry to spoil it.”
Despite Justin and Hailey fighting back against the speculation, a source exclusively told Life & Style on March 26 that the rumors have taken a toll on their mental health and made them want to leave Hollywood.
“They can’t set foot outside without being harassed,” the insider said. “It was bad enough before, but now that they have a baby, it’s so much worse, and Hailey’s worried about the stress it’s causing Justin. She sees how tightly wound he is and feels that the best thing they could do is leave.”
The source continued, “If Justin were to move somewhere that could allow him to have a normal life, there’s no doubt it would do him a world of good. That’s why the idea of moving someplace quieter, where they can just focus on their family and not be under a microscope 24/7, is so appealing.”
Fans have shown concern for Justin lately amid some seemingly alarming social media posts, including a March 13 Instagram Story about feeling “unworthy.”
“People told me my whole life, ‘Wow Justin, u deserve that’ and I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud. Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky, like, damn if they only knew my thoughts. How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn’t be saying this,” he wrote in the message, which was set to “Sneaky Sneaky” by Gold Tiger. “I say all this to say if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.”
