Hallie Batchelder Says She’s Willing to Be ‘Canceled’ for Condom Take

Hallie Batchelder has officially gone viral — and not in the way she hoped.

The 25-year-old influencer is under fire after boldly declaring that she’s “offended by the condom epidemic,” claiming that condoms “kill the mood” during an episode of her podcast “Extra Dirty,” which airs under Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network.

“The last two guys I’ve f****d in the past month have suggested using condoms,” Batchelder said on the October 30 episode. “And I’m kind of being offended by the condom epidemic. I don’t know how I feel about it. I’m allergic. … Who likes them?”

Batchelder went on to argue that she doesn’t see the point of condoms since she has an IUD.

“One, it kills the mood,” she continued. “Two, I don’t want to have your f***ing weird offspring baby. Like, I have a stronger IUD than, like, Zeus. Pregnancy is not on the table. I don’t want to have a child with you. Or like three, are you calling me a whore and are you trying to protect yourself from STDs I might have?”

When cohost Jordyn Fishman asked if she ever confronted partners about it, Batchelder admitted she once called a man out for “ruining the mood.”

“This happened to me like a couple weeks ago and I was like, ‘Look at you looking for a condom and like how it’s ruining the mood. And also like why do you need one,’” she said, recalling how the man told her it was just about being responsible. “He just thought it was practicing responsible sex and boundaries with him. And I was like, ‘Blah blah blah blah blah.’”

After Fishman joked, “Did you tell him to grow up?” Batchelder replied, “I got the ick, and I haven’t talked to him since.”

The comments immediately sparked outrage online, with critics flooding her social media. “Does your IUD also protect you against HIV and AIDS?” one Instagram user wrote, while another added, “You should be encouraging condoms for your viewers.”

The backlash spread to TikTok, where influencers and fans alike called her take “irresponsible” and “dangerous.” Fellow content creator Clarke Peoples, 24, even chimed in, saying, “Telling people that ‘using condoms kills the mood’ or that you feel like a slut if someone tells you, ‘Yeah, well, I want to use a condom to protect myself,’ is one of the craziest things I’ve actually ever heard.”

But instead of walking back her comments, Batchelder doubled down in a follow-up TikTok posted Saturday, saying she stands by her opinion.

“I said I don’t f**k with condoms and they ruin the vibe,” she said. “And if that’s what you wanna cancel me for, OK, cancel me and my career. I don’t know what you want me to say. I’m not changing my mind on that one.”
