In the midst of his sexual harassment and rape scandal, film producer Harvey Weinstein could stand to lose everything — including his wife, Georgina Chapman. She recently announced that she is separating from her husband and now that the couple is estranged, it looks like their marriage is over. And according to new reports, their marriage may have only been to promote her fashion line, Marchesa. A friend of the couple called their marriage a "sexless business arrangement," according to The Sun.
"Georgina and Harvey are not speaking," an insider revealed to Us Weekly. "She doesn't want to speak to him, but she talks to his daughter Remy so that's where she gets any necessary updates."
When she announced that she was separating from her husband, she made it very clear that the allegations made against him in a New York Times exposé — which alleged that Harvey had sexually harassed dozens of Hollywood actresses and female colleagues over the span of three decades — is the reason why she left.

"My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions," she told People magazine. "I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time."
But how did the 41-year-old Marchesa fashion mogul even meet her much-older partner? Despite their previous power-couple status, the duo's relationship began without a lot of fanfare. The 65-year-old approached Georgina at a party in 2004, she explained to Vogue. The brunette beauty was a young model just starting her fashion line at the time, but wasn't in the least bit starstruck.
“I had no idea who he was,” she explained, though he still made an impression. “He’s not a person you can sort of ignore or brush off. He’s incredibly charming and so charismatic, it sort of draws you in.” The pair dated for the next three years, until they got engaged in November 2007, marrying one month later in Connecticut. Harvey allegedly admitted to sexual misconduct.
In a leaked audio tape from 2015, Harvey Weinstein confessed that he's "used" to being able to grope women. After an incident with model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, in which the beauty accused the film producer of fondling her breasts and attempting to reach his hand up her skirt, the NYPD outfitted her with a wire to meet with the Hollywood bigwig again.
According to The New Yorker, Harvey repeatedly tried to get the then 22-year-old, who met him at the Tribeca Grand Hotel's bar in NYC, to accompany him back to his hotel room. "No, you must come here now … I’m not doing anything with you, I promise,” he said, to which Ambra replied, “I know, I don’t want to. I’m sorry, I cannot." When she asked why he touched her breast the day before, he said, “Oh, please, I’m sorry. Just come on in. I’m used to that.” When she refused again, he allegedly told her to never call him again and dismissed her from the hotel.
Harvey supported his wife's decision to leave.
“I support her decision, I am in counseling and perhaps, when I am better, we can rebuild. Over the last week, there has been a lot of pain for my family that I take responsibility for,” Harvey said in a statement obtained by People.
“I sat down with my wife Georgina, who I love more than anything, and we discussed what was best for our family," he continued. "We discussed the possibility of a separation and I encouraged her to do what was in her heart. I understand, I love her and I love our children and hopefully, when I am better, I will be in their lives again.”
Do Harvey and Georgina have any children?
The pair shares two children. Their daughter, India Pearl, 7, was born in 2010, three years into their marriage. They also have a four-year-old son named Dashiell. Georgina has said that family is her top priority, which seems to be part of the reason she's chosen to leave her marriage amid the horrifying claims against him. Harvey also has three children from his first marriage to Eve Chilton — they share 22-year-old daughter Lily aka "Remy," 19-year-old daughter Emma, and 14-year-old daughter Ruth.
Where did Harvey and Georgina live?
Georgina's fashion house Marchesa is based out of NYC, where she also shoots Project Runway: All Stars. Of course, being a film producer, Harvey works mainly out of LA. However, the two also share a waterfront estate in Connecticut, so the family split their time between those three places.
Where is Georgina from?
Georgina was born in London to very successful parents. Her mom was a journalist and her dad was the owner of organic coffee company Percol. She stayed in England through school, later moving to America to start Marchesa with fellow Chelsea College of Art and Design alumna Keren Craig.
How much is Georgina worth?
Harvey may be one of the biggest players in Hollywood (at least, until he was fired from his own company following the scandal), but Georgina is very successful in her own right. The Richest reports that Georgina is worth about $20 million. Though it's only a fraction of her husband's net worth (an estimated $150 million), it's certainly nothing to scoff at.
