Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Are Enjoying ‘Precious Time Together’ Amid Music and Football Hiatus
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are enjoying “precious time together” amid their hiatus from music and football, sources close to the power couple revealed.
“Taylor and Travis are taking it easy right now,” one source told Us Weekly. “They’ve been laying low in Kansas City.”
In recent weeks, the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer, 35, and her NFL star boyfriend, 35, have also “been traveling, and letting the rest of the world go for a bit,” a second insider added. “They went to Park City to go skiing.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is currently in his offseason until the summer when he’ll have to get back in gear for training camp. Taylor, for her part, is also savoring some down time after wrapping up her two-year Eras Tour in December 2024.
“After 21 months on the road and a year-and-a-half with Travis, Taylor is ready for this next chapter to begin with the love of her life,” a source previously dished to Life & Style back in January.
She has been helping to lift Travis’ spirits after his team’s Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that resulted in a final score of 40-22 on February 9.
Eyewitnesses recently saw the pair in the Big Apple, where they enjoyed a meal out with a group of people at New York City’s Crane Club on Thursday, March 13, until the early morning.
“Travis and four of his friends arrived,” a third source told Us Weekly about the pair. “Taylor didn’t arrive until 11 p.m. There were seven people there, including them. They all stayed until 3 a.m. The group were all laughing and having a great time.”
The source said Taylor and Travis looked smitten with each other and were “very cute” throughout the night while the athlete “had his arm [wrapped] around” the Grammy winner.
Travis and Taylor have been going strong since summer 2023, which came soon after the NFL star revealed he was interested in dating the pop icon on his “New Heights” podcast. Travis shared how he wanted to connect with Taylor backstage and exchange DIY friendship bracelets.
Insiders told Life & Style that Taylor has certainly helped make Travis an even “better man.”
“Travis has had girlfriends before, but none that he tried to impress the way he has with Taylor,” a source exclusively shared. “Taylor comes first in his life. This is a big deal for Travis.”
Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, echoed those sentiments on the “Fitz & Whit” podcast in February. “One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up,” Jason, 37, said while reflecting on his younger brother’s former bachelor pad, noting that he’s “growing up now.”
“I think sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you and that’s a good thing,” he said, seemingly alluding to Taylor with his remark.
“Trav, he is growing up. He’s still got that youthful enthusiasm,” Jason continued. “I think he’ll kind of always have that. It’s just part of his personality.”
