Nash Grier’s Mother-in-Law Nikki Giavasis Found Safe After Being Reported Missing
Nash Grier‘s mother-in-law, Nikki Giavasis, has been found safe.
Just one day after she was reported missing, police in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, confirmed to People that she had been located.
On Wednesday, August 20, Grier’s wife, Taylor Giavasis, shared a missing person’s report for her mother on social media, urging the public to help bring her home.
“🚨 MISSING PERSON 🚨,” Taylor, 28, wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, revealing that Nikki was last seen on Monday, August 18. “Nikki’s family is urgently seeking any information regarding her whereabouts. If you have seen Nikki or know anything about her location, please contact 911 immediately or call the Fort Lauderdale Police Department at (954) 828-5700.”
Nikki, 48, is an entrepreneur, author and wellness advocate who has also built a large social media following over the years. Her disappearance has caused an outpouring of concern from friends, followers, and fans online who are hoping for her safe return.
So far, Nash, 27, has not made a public statement regarding his mother-in-law’s disappearance. The couple, who first started dating in 2015, married nearly a decade later in December 2024. Their love story has been well-documented online, as has their journey into parenthood with their two children — son Malakai, born in 2019, and daughter Noa, born in 2022.
In past interviews and YouTube videos, both Nash and Taylor have been candid about how much family means to them. “I mean, when our relationship really started heating up, I was definitely prioritizing her in every aspect of life. I was always thinking about her and what she was doing or what she wanted to do,” Nash said in a 2020 YouTube video, reflecting on how fatherhood shifted his perspective.
He admitted that everything changed once Taylor became pregnant. “I feel like we’ve gotten tighter and grown closer if that was possible,” he added.
Taylor has echoed that sentiment, explaining in the same video that their bond as a couple evolved once they became parents. “It’s about Malakai [and] it’s about us working together,” she said at the time. “We aren’t the main focus of our whole lives anymore, so I feel like it forces us to communicate properly.”
The couple later welcomed their daughter Noa, with Nash sharing in a 2022 vlog that raising two children came with new challenges. “Having one kid certainly prepared us for having another, but it didn’t prepare us for having both of them simultaneously. I think we’ve done well,” he said.
Now, as Taylor’s family navigates the devastating uncertainty of Nikki’s disappearance, fans are rallying around the couple with messages of love and support.
