"Fight frizz and keep your ends smooth with coconut oil! Rub a drop between your hands and smooth over the ends of damp hair after washing. Swipe some deodorant on the back of your neck to keep your head from sweating and extend the life of your blowout.
Coat your hair with coconut oil before getting in the pool to prevent damage. Then rinse it with chlorine-free water immediately after getting out. If you have an itchy or dry scalp, rinse with apple cider vinegar — pour a small amount onto scalp after shampooing, leave on for 1-2 minutes, then rinse out. It also helps add shine to your hair."

"Summertime to me beauty-wise is all about embracing natural beauty and glow! I have a few beauty secrets that I’ve adopted over the years. I really try to protect my skin by wearing lots of sunscreen, baseball caps, and not really laying out too much. However, I love the tan look. So, my go-to is self-tanner! My favorite self-tanner is Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Tanning Mousse. I get so many compliments when I use this product.
Summertime means traveling! When we travel, our skin tends to dry up during flights. To prevent this, I carry rose water spray to keep my skin hydrated. My favorite summertime makeup products that keep my skin looking natural and glowing are the Benefit Cosmetics "Hoola" bronzer and the Sephora contour palette — I love the shimmer from this palette.
For a sexy date night look, I always apply essential-oils to my skin for a sexy glow and scent. Nail-wise, I like to keep my finger nails clean and simple. So, I usually go for a nude or pale pink nail polish.
Last, but certainly not least, hair trims are a must. Summer is all about feeling fresh and light — with split ends that’s hard. Above all, summer is about feeling confident and embracing your natural beauty!"

"My go-to beauty hack is simple — it is to stay out of the sun or limit your time in it! The sun can cause a huge array of health issues that have been studied and proven. Since staying out of the sun is mostly in my control, I tend to limit my exposure to it because the sun’s rays can cause sunspots and wrinkles.
I also always wear sunscreen outside, even if I am just stepping out of my house for a coffee down the street. I feel you, we all love getting some Vitamin D. Just make sure you have your sunscreen on and you limit your time in it! If you do, you will feel much better and at the same time, it will help you lower your risk of some serious medical issues. Remember, our bodies are our temples, we must take good care of them!"

"I wear highlight even when I have no makeup on. Sometimes, I even put some on to go to bed or the gym. It makes your natural face just look a bit more dewy and fresh. You can dust a bit of powder highlight on with a brush or just dab a bit of cream or liquid highlight on your cheekbones. Also, the bow of your lips and the tip of your nose for a little extra glow!"

Ashley Alexiss
"Tinted SPF! It is a girl's best friend. I really love the NARS brand because it's not oily and it doesn't get greasy, but can hide a little blemish while still protecting your beautiful skin.
As for hair, double french braids are easy to learn and can give you two hairstyles in one. When it's hot and humid out, you don't want to be bothered with having to blow dry and curl/straighten your hair. Double french braids are super cute and keep you cool. Then, when you take them out, you have the perfect, beauty wave.
Spray tans are life! You get the color you want, without putting your skin at risk. I can't live without my spray tan in the summer or winter time. I love a manually applied tan, but if you want a quick in and out, Versa Spa is my go-to. It doesn't leave you orange and can last up to a week.
Also, Green Tea moisturizer is awesome to get rid of any redness and to help cool down your skin and help you feel refreshed. I use this every night before bed. Lastly, Burt's Bees lip balm."

"Make sure you drink lots of water. You want to stay hydrated! Your skin looks great when you drink a lot of water. Use sunscreen, every time you go outside and moisturize a lot. Spray tan instead of laying out in the sun. Tanning is really bad for the skin. So, I always spray tan instead. It’s faster and healthier."

"First off, there is nothing worse than a bad self-tanner! My go-to self-tanner is by St. Tropez. Unfortunately, even with the best ones, we all make mistakes. One beauty hack I’ve learned over the years to fix those mistakes, is to take baking soda and water and make a paste. Use the paste to gently exfoliate the areas where you need to even out the tan.
Most all of us women suffer from cellulite. We can hide the embarrassing blemishes in the winter, but not when we want to wear cute summer dresses and shorts in the summer. Let’s not forget our sexy bikinis we’ve been dying to use! When summer hits, I’ll roll on my Sknvious Melt Rx Topical slimming gel after I get out of the shower when I know I’m going to be showing off my legs. It vanishes my cellulite. I won’t even leave the house for a vacation without it!
It’s hard to find a really good waterproof mascara. I recently have done quite a few underwater photo shoots and have found that my Makeup Forever smokey lash waterproof works magic!"
