We all remember Christen Whitney as the gorgeous brunette who competed for Nick Viall’s heart on Season 21 of The Bachelor and when she went looking for love again on Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise she was rudely dubbed “scallop fingers” due to her love of the seafood. However, the unfortunate nickname is not stopping Christen from looking for love again on reailty TV. Now, the the 26-year-old Oklahoma native will compete on the latest spin-off, The Proposal — but she has made it very clear she was never planning to actually accept a proposal.

“Let me break it down: Yes: it’s a wild concept. No: I haven’t lost my mind lol. Yes: I am always willing and open to new adventures. Yes: I can’t wait to meet my person. No: I didn’t think that I would experience love at first sight, ” she wrote on Instagram of the dating show. “Yes: I do believe some people can and DO! Yes: I do think Mike Fleiss’ aim is to first make interesting TV, but also to matchmake soul mates. No: I would not have accepted a marriage proposal. Yes: I did have a blast and met fun, dynamic people!”

The Proposal, which premieres on June 18 and is hosted by Jesse Palmer, will feature 10 eligible daters competing in a pageant-like scenario to win a proposal from a mystery suitor, whose identity is not revealed until the end of each show. However, that doesn’t mean the proposal is for marriage. Instead, the mystery suitor has the opportunity to present a “romantic proposal of their choice” — whatever that means. In a nutshell, it’s The Bachelor on steroids.

Back to Christen, while we know she does not get engaged, it remains unclear if Christen is still a virgin. The devout Christian has previously explained that her faith has inspired her to not have sex until she ties the knot. To remind herself of her promise to God, Christen got a tattoo on her wrist, which depicts the life of Jesus through various symbols.

“I have a lot of love to express and passion but I’m waiting to have sex until I get married,” she said during her brief, four-episode stint on The Bachelor. “There’s been anticipation building for 25 years, and I’m so ready to release all of that.” She also revealed that she wouldn’t mind if Nick were the first man she ever slept with had they worked out. “If Nick and I end up together, my gosh, I’m really excited,” she said on the show. “Because God loves sex, because he created it, and it’s going to be amazing.”
