‘Jersey Shore’ Star Deena Cortese Is Pregnant With Her Own Little Meatball!
A little meatball is on the way! Deena Cortese from Jersey Shore is pregnant and fans couldn't be happier. On July 2, the star revealed on Instagram that she and husband Christopher Buckner are expecting a baby boy. "Chris and I Decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans! Now that we are safely into our second trimester.. us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world our little family is growing!" she wrote to her followers. "We have a sweet little boy on the way! We are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness December can’t come soon enough! Daddy and Mommy can’t wait to meet you Christopher John you are going to be the most spoiled little boy ever!!!!"
This might not be too shocking for fans considering Deena's recent comments about pregnancy. On the season finale of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Deena and the rest of her Jersey Shore co-stars each told the cameras what they were looking forward to doing most when they got home, and she revealed that she couldn't wait to get home to her husband so that they could work on getting pregnant.
"I am so ready to go home and make a little meatball with my Christopher and it's going to be amazing," Deena told the cameras.
But Deena actually sparked pregnancy rumors earlier this season on Jersey Shore Family Vacation. On her second day in the house, she woke up and she said her hands were so swollen that she couldn't take her wedding ring off, and she was also feeling "shaky" and sick. DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino joked with Deena, telling her that she could have congestive heart failure or she might need to have her hand amputated — and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, whose girlfriend was pregnant with his first child at the time, brought up a serious suggestion. "Or maybe you're pregnant," he said.
But Deena definitely wasn't pregnant with a little meatball of her own during filming — even though she did confirm to Life & Style earlier this year that she was trying to conceive with her hubby. "We are trying!" she exclusively revealed. "I was fine with two [kids], but he wants three and I'm fine with that."
Deena's Jersey Shore besties Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi are both already moms and have two children each with their husbands — Snooki shares five-year-old son Lorenzo and three-year-old daughter Giovanna with her husband Jionni LaValle and JWoww shares three-year-old daughter Meilani and two-year-old son Gresyon with her husband Roger Mathews. So of course, her friends already gave her a ton of advice.
"I talk to the girls all the time about it and they say, 'Listen, you’re going to be trying but don’t get crazy about it because it won’t happen,'" she told Us Weekly. "I have anxiety to begin with so I’m trying to be like super chill about it but, you know, it takes time. They told me not to stress out about it or think too much, just to have fun and when it happens it happens. That’s what we’re doing."
