Is Joe Jonas Single? The Singer Gives Dating Update Following Sophie Turner Divorce
Joe Jonas is giving fans an honest look at his love life — and it seems dating isn’t exactly easy these days.
Two years after announcing his split from Sophie Turner, the singer revealed that juggling romance with his busy Jonas Brothers touring schedule has been a real challenge.
“Five shows in a row doesn’t make it easy to meet someone for coffee,” Joe told Esquire in an interview published October 20. While he’s not currently on any dating apps, he admitted that he’s met some romantic prospects through social media. “I guess Instagram and TikTok are apps, and I’ve met people that way,” he said.
Despite the dating hurdles, Joe has found a rhythm in co-parenting with Sophie since finalizing their divorce in September 2024, one year after their four-year marriage ended. The 36-year-old singer shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with Turner. “I have a beautiful coparenting relationship that I’m really grateful for,” Joe told Jay Shetty in a TikTok video during Jay’s On Purpose Live Tour in May. “Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.”
Joe emphasized the importance of strong female role models in his daughters’ lives. “As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them,” he said. “I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence and know that they can do literally anything they want.”
The singer, who was last linked to model Stormi Bree, seems to be prioritizing family over romance for now, and his comments reflect a grounded approach to life post-divorce. He’s focused on giving his daughters stability and confidence as they grow up in the public eye.
Sophie Turner, meanwhile, has spoken candidly about the impact of their divorce on their children. The Game of Thrones alum, now dating Peregrine Pearson, told British Vogue in May 2024, “They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can. I’m confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that’s all that I can ask for.”
