Katy Perry Eager to ‘Start a Family’ With Fiancé Orlando Bloom Following Their Nuptials
First comes love, then comes marriage … then comes baby in the baby carriage! Even though Katy Perry and fiancé Orlando Bloom have yet to walk down the aisle, the “Firework” songstress, 34, apparently has kids on the brain. “Katy wants to start a family and Orlando is on board,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “She wants to wait until after they’re married, but that’s not written in stone.”
Given Katy’s thirsty comments on her man’s Instagram, we’re beginning to wonder if the pair will be able to wait until after they say “I do.” *Wink, wink.* The pop star wrote not one, not two, but four messages on Orlando’s recent steamy post. “SHE SAID HELL YAS,” the first message read. She continued writing, “I HAVE A FEVER,” “I’M SWEATING” and “I’M FOAMING AT THE MOUTH.”
A fever, indeed! Baby fever, that is. “The buzz that Katy might already be pregnant started when she showed up at Kanye West’s Sunday church service wearing a dress with a flowy shirt over it,” the source noted. “It was a pretty weird cover-up. So, of course, everyone started talking. It was distracting … distracting in a way that it looked like she was trying to hide something.”
To be honest, Katy has always had a, er, quirky sense of fashion. It’s entirely possible that she was just feeling especially avant-garde that afternoon. Even so, we have no doubt that she will make a terrific mama. “Katy simply adores Orlando’s son Flynn,” the source gushed. “She’s a great stepmom, but she desperately wants her own kids.”
As much as we can’t wait to see a little Katy and Orlando in the world, we’re diggin’ the couple’s newly engaged bliss. Hold onto that, you two! It won’t last forever.
