Die-hard ’NSYNC fans have been hoping for a reunion tour or album, but in an interview with Life & Style, Lance Bass is serving up a cold dose of reality.

Lance says he’s happy ’NSync went out on top. “We left them wanting more,” he tells Life & Style exclusively before breaking our hearts.

But unfortunately, “It’s just not going to happen,” the 38-year-old said of teaming up again with bandmates Justin Timberlake, Christ Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and JC Chasez.

“We all grew up and Justin went on to do his thing,” he explains, “and because of that, there’s just no way that ’NSYNC is ever going to get back together.”

Lance adds that he’s done singing and is focusing on TV and film instead. Still, the guys do keep in touch and even have a big group text. “We’re all 13-year-olds,” he says. “We talk daily!”
