We didn’t see this coming!

In this week’s issue of Life & Style, Jade Roper reveals that when she and husband Tanner Tolbert learned they were pregnant with their first child, a former Bachelor castmate was the first person they told.

“I called Carly Waddell because she knew we were trying,” Jade tells Life & Style. “I knew she was going to be excited.”

Calls to her own mom (and other grandparents-to-be) came later, Jade reveals.

Jade, who’s due in September, tells Life & Style that she and Tanner conceived in December during a trip to the Bahamas with Carly and her man, Evan Bass.

Now she’s hoping Carly, 31, and Evan, 34, will follow in their footsteps soon, noting, “They’re excited for kids of their own, too.”
