Jennifer Lawrence Goes Full Bride on the Red Carpet as She Plans Wedding to Darren Aronofsky!
It looks like Jennifer Lawrence is excited about becoming a bride because the Oscar-winning actress just stepped out on the red carpet in an actual wedding dress. Jennifer looked stunning in the white dress with lace sleeves and a low-cut neckline at the Faces Places premiere.
The custom-made design is the Alice gown from L Wells Bridal and we are already imagining her boho-chic bridal style. Recently, she revealed that she’ll be taking a two-year break from acting, but Life & Style reported that she’ll still have plenty to do in the meantime! Sources admitted that JLaw is planning a wedding with boyfriend of one year, Darren Aronofsky.
Even though the couple is engaged, the movie star is refusing to show her ring finger. It seems like she’s hiding an engagement ring from the paparazzi. “Jennifer and Darren want to be married by the new year,” an insider revealed. “They have a really strong connection. She’s always said she’ll know when the right guys comes along, and Darren is that guy.” A second source added, “They can’t wait to tie the knot. They’re just crazy about each other.”
The duo met on the set of their new film Mother!, which Darren directed, but despite their 21-year age difference, “they’re totally on the same page,” said the source — both when it comes to their relationship and the wedding. “Neither of them wants some over-the-top thing,” the first insider explained. “It will be intimate and classy, with special friends, family, and some celebrity guests.”
Those A-listers will include Jen’s frequent on-screen partner, Bradley Cooper, as well as gal pal Amy Schumer. The 27-year-old would also love Adele to perform. Though the couple only made their red carpet debut this month, Jen previously gushed about working with her boyfriend in an interview with Life & Style.
“I’d been a fan of Darren Aronofsky for a really long time, so the first time I heard that he had something, I was immediately interested and wanted to meet with him. It was the first time I’ve ever just had a conversation with the director. He just had ideas that were so interesting and unique, and he didn’t even really have a script. It was just these brilliant explosive ideas, so I immediately wanted to be a part of it,” she shared.
This would be the first marriage for both Jennifer and Darren, though the 48-year-old was previously engaged to actress Rachel Weisz. They share an 11-year-old son named Henry.
