“Marc and I are good how we are right now,” she said. “There’s a reason we’re not together, but we’re great friends. And we’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together.”

She continued, “We met working, and that’s where we’re really magical. When we’re on stage together, and so we leave it there. That’s it.”

Jennifer, 47, who shares eight-year-old twins Max and Emme with the Latino superstar also got emotional when talking about her kids on the daytime talk show.

“They just make my life so much better,” Lopez added. “I’m forever grateful. I didn’t have kids until later. I almost thought it wasn’t going to happen for me, so I’m very aware that I was blessed with that and it could have been something different. I don’t take it for granted.”

Earlier this year, Life & Style reported that Marc was determined to get J.Lo back after she started dating rapper Drake. However, she couldn’t get over their past issues.

“She was having major doubts because of the trust issues she’s always had with Marc,” a source said. [Jennifer] didn’t want to put the kids through the emotional turmoil of possibly getting back together with their dad if it wasn’t on solid ground.”

Fans shouldn’t worry about Marc, who has already moved on with 21-year-old model Mariana Downing.
